  • Bananas

The OH recently made us some ice cream in the blender which was lush.

She took the bananas which we would normally not eat the over brown ones, opened and cut into chunks. Placed them on a baking tray and put them in the freezer. Once frozen they were bagged and left in the freezer until ready to use.

Now she then made a chocolate and caramel base with a finely chopped chilled racer bar (all non aldi fans will know this as a snickers), some cocoa powder some cream and then it was blended with the frozen bananas. In next to no time we had a lovely frozen dessert.

Don't ask me for quantities I was watching from a safe distance, it truth I didn't believe her when she said there were bananas in there as I couldn't taste them.

Its not exactly slimming world, but its a good pudding if you run out of ice cream and you've had a hard day at work.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

I also made banana ice cream yesterday, using up some over ripe bananas, served with raspberry and blackcurrant compote, was delicious

Sounds really nice Mikey, but liable to go straight to your hips.

It's made me think that I need to make a Black Banana and Dark Chocolate loaf - also not a dieter's friend. Mmmm overripe bananas!
While wearing your night clothes, plant cucumbers on the 1st May before the sun comes up, and they will not be attacked by bugs.
