  • Wine recipe books

Hi all, years ago I used to make my own wine and had a great recipe book.As well as using fresh fruit it also had very easy recipes using cartons of fruit juices from supermarket.I have been thinking of making my own wine again but sadly got rid of book long time ago.Would anyone know of a simlar book that is available?

This site is quite useful, it has a fruit juice recipe which I've made and is maturing in my cupboard at the moment.

Hello and welcome to the vine.

A good general guide to making wine is CJJ Berry - First Steps in Winemaking.

It's good ain't it? Not only got all the scientific stuff, but quite useable by those of us who like to do 'seat of the pants' style!

I agree with the ladies above that the "first steps" is the way to go.
Canned and dried fruit by cjj berry is often on Ebay.Although there are none just now, there has been 2 sold in the last fortnight. You'll get it for no more than £5 delivered(probably about £3).
