  • Well hello there...

Another 'new' Andy here. Been browsing for a while and only finally got round to registering now that I see I've got some seeds that a swapper might like.

I've got a plot and a bit in Cambridge. We did have a lovely veggie patch in my garden and then we moved house so took on an allotment just a minute's walk from our back gate. Life with two small ones means tricky to get enough digging time, but hopefully in the years to come I'll have two helpers!

Current projects include making some raised beds (on patio slabs) in unused part of garden (a work in progress!), and trying to plant soft fruit from aldi's recent offer before going on holiday - was doing it at 10pm by the light of a head torch! Did I say I've got two kids?!

Garden and busy life goes together, organization and planing is the key !! Actually, being still a student with no kids, it helped me to get more organized with my life in general !
And what a great base for life wisdom to be taught to your kids...isn't it?
        Warm welcome!

Hello Andy, my two children used to help me garden. It's a good idea to let them help, when they grow up you miss the things that made it all a struggle when they were little.

Hi Andy, I know what you mean about lack of time when you have little ones.
But my 4 year old son is loving helping me. We are learning together it's great
