  • Waving from Kincardineshire

    Hi,
I am newish to this gardening lark, only got a small raised bed & some bags for tatties. Very small end terrace house & the garden is full of wood for burning & upcycling into stuff - that's what keeps hubby amused - & 3 motorbikes. Space for growing is at a premium.
We live in a fairly dry part of Scotland but its also not that warm - normally - so hoping I can keep on top of the watering.
Working full time & having a love of hill climbing & motorbike travel takes up lots of time but I'm sure I can find some time to grow something

Hiya Lizzie! You're not a million miles from me.

My growing area is small too so I sympathise. I've had to be inventive with Ikea shoe bags etc hung on fences so there's always a way.

I signed up to the local hill walking club that covers your area too I think but have never actually gone out on a meet yet. Maybe one day.

Anyway, you'll get a laugh round here along with some good ideas and tips so I hope you feel at home soon.
