                        thanks for such a cheery welcome all... and still so many familiar names.. i was a little disulutioned with the allotment to be fair.. i kept it going just had a little harvest or two but ive set my sights on rescuing it over the next couple of months.. ive got an asparagus bed in there somewhere.

                            Asparagus bed???..oh ...my heart yearns for the one I left behind.

                            Sometimes we all need a bit of time out to step back, reassess the surroundings, appreciate what we have , and then enjoy!

                            The French have a saying of to 'profit' from a situation.
                            It means to make the most of/benefit from ( but not financially)

                            Sounds like you are going through that very experience!
