  • New to Veg gardening

    Hello Forum members,
I have enjoyed the wonderful hobby of growing plants for 45 years. Mainly flowers, but some salad crops. I now have a new garden and I have a good size area where I can grow veg and I hope to grow a good variety of crops. I have 2 x 55' long beds x 4' wide and I am following a No Dig approach. I have some problems and I am hoping that members can help me.

                      Welcome to the Vine
LOVE growing food to eat in my little town back garden. Winter update: currently growing overwintering onions, carrots, lettuce, chard, salad leaves, kale, cabbage, radish, beetroot, garlic, broccoli raab, some herbs.

Good morning, plantmark, and a very warm welcome to the Vine from me, too ..!
45 years growing experience is a LOT of experience .....
I'm sure you'll find veggie growing just as fulfilling as plants, too before long - I love it - seeing that first little seedling popping up - can't be beaten ...!
