  • A New Grower

Hi people, as the new season starts I thought I should join what looks like a friendly forum, just in case I need some help and answers to any questions that pop up through the growing pains. here.(which I am sure there will be)
Better get on and do some reading of posts already here.

    Cheers

    Dave

Hi, if you have any questions stick them on someone will be able to help, probably not me as I am still trying to work out what I am doing myself.

            Welcome to the vine Dave.

A very friendly bunch on here, mad as a bag of ferrets at times too
When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it.
If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

                    Thanks for the welcome guys.

From the name I have used you can probably guess I am into fishing as well.

                        Hello Dave, I'm newish too.
I've never grown veggies before, all my gardening has been of the flowery kind before.
You'll find the people here really helpful and friendly. I love it here.

Hi Lynne, I did grow a few things last year, Runner Beans were a total waste of time. I had one feed from the whole row, I am hoping it was the weather and not me as I am going to give them another go this year.

Had some nice Onions though, Red and White.

I also have quite a few Carnivorous plants in the greenhouse which after about 8 years now seem to want to keep coming up every year.
