  • New container grower

    Hi everyone,

I'm very new to this growing business but enjoy it, so I thought I would join this forum and get the monthly mag to help me on my way. I have a container garden in my drive as my partner will not be happy if I dig up our recently landscaped garden. Which took him much time and effort, however the containers seem much more easier to cope with and get less weeds. I'm growing loads of veg and have been able to eat kale harvested from it. Any ideas, hints or tips on container gardening would be great.

    welcome to the site.
please stick your location in your profile so we can tell easier how to offer any advice.

the search function will bring up loads of threads on container growing.
we are currently nagging for a sub-forum for us container growers.

don't write off that lawn though, several of us have sacrificed ours growing is kinda addictive.

        Hello and welcome!

I'm mainly a container grower too - lots of helpful tips here.

We've recently started to sneak more veggie things here and there...horseradish lives underneath the roses in the front garden now...

Hi and welcome to the vine Pambelina!

I'm going to be growing lots of veg in containers this year too, just in case I'm made to move house and abandon my nice little veg plot I just dug!

Managed to grow carrots and peas in pots this year! Yummm

Looking forward to seeing pictures of your veg next year!
