  • Hi

Hi, ive been growing pips from oranges, lemons and a mango. My clemintine is 1 year old and is 18", my jaffa is 20" and recently planted a mango which is about 5" now. All grown on my windowsill.
Ive been told to put my worcester pearmain seeds in the fridge for two months and then take out and plant as it will help with germanating, is that right?
    Thank you

Hi, welcome to the vine, not too sure if you will get the same plant from a seed, you can get either cross fertilization or just no pollination and you could end up with nothing. Some seeds do need a "winter chill", not sure about apples as I've never tried, maybe try a couple of seeds in the fridge and plant a couple now and see what happens.

Hello and welcome to the vine jamiopipplanter

I've never grown fruit trees from pips so I'm no help there but we do own two Worcester Pearmain trees and they're very tasty just a pity the apples don't store for more than a few weeks.
