Hi and welcome to the vine. Does Terry Walton the lottie guy on Radio 2 grow somewhere round that way?

              Well hello, FL and welcome!

I'm intrigued to hear you want to grow a few exotic veg too, I can't resist trying out a few new things each year (although some have been a real disaster, there are others like sorrel that I wouldn't be without now!)

What are you growing this year?

If you're going to keep chickens, can I recommend getting ex battery chooks from the battery hen welfare trust? We got some a couple of months ago and they are the best 50p I ever spent!!!!

Terry's lottie and radio slot is covered from the Rhondda - forgive my ignorance on whether that is Bridgend or not, but I think not

Hi , I have 1 chicken allready, i put six cream legbar eggs into my incubator last november/december so my 2 young children could see the eggs hatch and raise the young, but we only had one hatch and it turned outto be a cock bird, im picking up a few hens in 3 weeks. This is where the name Foghorn leghorn comes from, we call him foggy..
