I'm Shelly and new to the grapevine. I am a real animal lover and have owned 2 horses and 2 dogs. Unfortunately I lost them a few years ago and pressure of work prevented me from getting any more. This was when I decided to get an allotment with my partner Wayne. We have had it for 4 years now and thoroughly enjoy it. The first 2 years we concentrated on just growing veg but we are now growing cut flowers as well. Its amazing that when we first took it on we thought the plot was huge and we would never fill it but now we use every inch and could do with another one. Cant be greedy though there's a lot of people who aren't lucky enough to get one. Each year we try something new, this year its Kohl Rabi. Have any of you tried it? and were you sucessful.
