    Hello from South Yorkshire

    I started gardening in our first house in the mid-60s. We moved to our present place in 1986 with a 15 acre smallholding where I had outdoor pigs, Angora goats and we reared calves. Since giving up the livestock I have reduced the holding to 1.25 acres of pretty rough, south facing acid land which is infested with bracken and brambles but I am gradually taming it. I grow top and bush fruit and vegetables while Christine looks after the garden.

    Erm, what's a 'Trackbak' please?

          Thank you for your replies folks. It would have helped if I had spelt 'Trackback' properly - it's mi' age yer know.
          I don't know if it is considered bad form to refer to other websites here, but... I have a lot of photos about my gardening activities on flickr here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/norwic...57655792756058.
          Just one other thing; my eyesight is very poor and a lot of reading is not easy so regrettably I will not be subscribing to the magazine. I cannot read printed newspapers, magazines etc. and I have tried online publications and it doesn't work.

            Although we are having a few gliches with the vine due to a future upgrade, you may be able to add the link into your signature. Just go into settings then down to edit signature:
