  • Hello from rainy Farnborough

    Hi

I have been reading the boards for a while now and are finding them really informative and useful.

Just wanted to say thanks to all those who pass on their knowledge to us newbies.

I am looking forward to my first year of growing vegetables.

      Hi Jacqui and welcome.
I lived for 20 years in Aldershot, so I know well the Farnborough rain.

Hi, and welcome to the madhouse. This year is my second 'proper' year growing, and I'm sure I know less than I did two years ago!

Welcome to the vine, Jacqui -that list of veggies look like a good plan to me! What is nice about the vine is that you will get more instructions and tips than the seed packet!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

                              Hi Jacqui,

Welcome to the Vine from me too, glad you could join us. I'd add a couple of courgette plants to that list. They don't take up much space and should keep you well stocked all summer and into the autumn too .
