  • Hello from Ireland!

    Hi everyone,

I just wanted to pop my head in and introduce myself. I've been messing about with herbs on the windowsill and things in containers for ages, but this year I've finally got a little spot of land with some actual beds sorted, so I can start growing food in earnest.

I'm still a total newbie to anything more than a few courgettes in pots, but I'm really enjoying watching my seedlings emerge. Now it's just going to be a battle to keep them all alive — and safe from my rescue hens and other greedy beasties!

Welcome Chloris - Whereabouts are you in Ireland? There's quite a difference between the tropical beaches of Wexford and the frozen north of Donegal - and that can make quite a difference to your planting times etc...

                              Thanks for the welcome, all!
