              Haha,

As the garden is the size of a small irregular shaped handkercheif the veggie pots take up all the room, much to the wife disgust>

Hi there- and welcome to the Vine!
So- what are your plans then- are you going to start a few things off in pots too so you can transfer them if one comes up soon?
A lot of lotties will be handed back in the next few weeks when peeps go back to take a look and think they just don't want to commit to another year for one reason or another!
I'm giving mine up in June- but have allowed someone onto the raised beds in the mean time to get started this year.I suppose I could have said nothing- but that would have been selfish. Maybe you could nip over o the 2 sites and introduce yourself ( weekend is a good time) and see if they know if someone is packing up) You might find you prefer one site to another if you have a natter with your new neighbours!

Also- how about making sure you grow some flowers for your OH..well worth the brownie points!!

Hi there - once you get a bit of land you'll never look back. I've just got back from my allotment - spring weed-removal!
Best of luck. Hope you get one soon.

Woohoo that's good news. Grab it with both hands even if it seems like there's a lot of work to be done.

                              Thanks Binley,

The plot is a 2 minute walk from my house, its only small with a total of 6 plots.

I have a horrible feeling that i know the half they are offering. It's covered with weeds, bits of old shed and god knows else under the mounds. But i could be wrong.

I won't know until I look, and it can only get better.
