  • Hello from a displaced Cotswoldian

Came across this forum when I was trying to find an answer to an annoying problem with jam... decided to stick around.
I'm of a more senior persuasion; I work part time as the Parish Administrator for a Church in North Leeds [although I actually attend a different church - confusing]; and I have a craft stall most Saturdays at various fairs and markets. I make handpainted bottle lamps, preserves from allotment, garden and supermarket surplus, pictures from old cards and frames - in fact, anything that can be upcycled that people might like to buy...
I have three adult [supposedly ] sons, a husband and am passionate about reducing waste and fighting consumerism and the throw away society...

    Hi,
from a Forest of Dean forester :-)

Sounds like we are on the same page as far as people who chuck useful things away are concerned.

i think we're all singing from the same hymn sheet here - it goes with growing your own.

Hello and a very warm welcome.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
