  • Hello from Brigg, Lincolnshire

    Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself as I have been reading various posts on the forum.

I moved to my new house in October 2014 and have been renovating the house up to now. Now that all required rooms are done, it's time for the garden!

    So far I've rotovated 2x 8m x 5m, and 1x 11m x 3m plots ready for the veg, seeds/sets ordered and waiting delivery.

For the last week I've been renovating on old shed which used to house a dog by the previous owner into my chook house. I've also built a large run for them too at the side of the house. My plan is to get 4 hens to start and see how I go. Got to find some POL close to home yet!

Thats my neck of the woods as well, where the garden bug bit me
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Hi and welcome Little duck! I'm in Grimsby, so only down the road from you

I bought three POL from just outside Horncastle I think it was, years ago... then two from a building merchant's in Cleethorpes of all places, but they don't sell chicks now. I wish I could help!

By the way, if you put your location in your profile settings, people can see where you are in your posts, so helps with things like last frost etc.
