  • Hello again peeps

Thought I would reintroduce myself as I have been away from the forum for a while. Moved house last May and have been struggling to bring some order to a large overgrown garden, which was overstuffed with shrubs and had no room to plant veg or flowers. I have removed a lot of shrubs and have created a veg patch and some spaces for flowers. Exciting times ahead!
My poor allotment has been quite neglected but as I have found myself unable to part with it, I have been working on it to try and turn it into a low maintenance plot. I plan to have lots of perennial veg and fruit bushes there. The allotment is much sunnier than the garden and has free draining soil, whereas the garden is heavy clay. I hope I can keep both spaces productive, with a bit of planning and a lot of optimism!

Wish I had taken more photos of the overstuffed shrubbery I started with - but I will take some of the bare patches I have created and hopefully some more later on brimming with veg and flowers!
