  • Greentoes' Revenge/Return

    Hi All ........... again,

Been absent for a long while after floods and several personal disasters.

Now got a new plot (1/4 of an acre of lawn/ex tennis court!) and am also very proud of our amazing organic veggie plot at the ickle school I work at (we won gold in Beverley in Bloom this year and have sights set on Yorkshire in Bloom).

The new plot is part of a near deserted vicarage on a large council estate in Hull where I, and various other waifs and strays now reside. Started preparing land for spuds last weekend and have the clay subsoil blisters to prove it. Plan for this year is umpteen varieties of spuds and hope local oiks either leave well alone or decide to get involved.

This time I promise not to upset too many moderators.

      Hi Flummery,

As we are so close maybe you'd like to visit our school veggie garden one day.

Would love to - but I don't drive and can't get to where your school is without a change of buses - get me pass next year though!

Well done on the beverley in bloom - tomorrow the world, eh?

I see you are still the clay king - spuds will do well for you, I think.

                Welcome back.

PS Do we have to call you the Rev Greentoes now??

Thanks to all the above -

                          2 Sheds - yes Weller on 22nd - Nottingham - ...when I'm in the crowd I don't see anything..... etc...etc...

Hazel - no ... far from Reverend ... I think we are all pretty damn holy.

Well done with the school garden! I'm sure if there's anything to be done with the Vicarage garden, you'll manage to do it
