  • celery?

Hello, im new to this site have recently bought my first grow your own magazine its brilliant. Anyway i have managed to grow celery to about 1/2inch high, now the pots getting crowded but i feel that the plants are to fragile to thin out, and i have heard they are tricky to grow any tips?
Oh andthey will be planted in large containers on my patio not in a veggie patch.

My celery is also only about an inch in height and must admit im a bit reluctant to pot up as they are very flimsy

I've never grown celery - can't stand the stuff - but it wouldn't hurt to leave it a bit longer I'm sure. Oh, and where are my manners? Welcome to the grapvine!

Hi and welcome to the vine.

If you have lots of celery seedlings, why don't you carefully pot a few on now and see how they do compared to the ones you leave in situ?
