Allotment Diaries

Hi Mr H,

Unfortunately although we can move threads etc we can't make a new section for allotment diaries. It's a good suggestion though and I'll put it towards our tech guys to see if they could add another header.

For now I would put it in "On the plot -Vegging Out" section.

You could also start a blog and post it in there as well? This can be found on your profile page.

Thanks for the reply Scarlet.

Personally I'd find it easier if these types of threads were all in one place so I hope the tech guys come up trumps.

I'll follow your advice though and start mine as you suggest. Could be a week or so before I have anything meaningful to post, I was hoping everything could be finalised this coming weekend but looks like it will slip a week as the guy in charge of plot allocations isn't around this weekend.

I can only think of a few people who keep a regular "diary" of their own allotment.

Most of the posts are in the "What I did today" type of threads which prompt us into doing the same.

If you want a record of what you've done, with photos, Vegging out is probably the best place. If you have questions that you want answered, have a search, most of them will have been asked before!

Also.... if you subscribe to each thread you can save all the threads together in a folder which is then saved on your profile.

Go to your profile and in settings you can set up a folder in subscriptions titled allotments.

See my example - sorry. It's a bit squished as it's on my phone.

Click on thread tools and you can view your options.

The threads that you subscribe to will all be listed on your profile in your subscription folders. You can also set up alerts by email etc when they have been added too.
