    Evening Mr H, hope you enjoy our lovely community on here
    I garden at home and of late only in pots and bins, this is for all veg
    Have flowers as well

    That's a fair arrangement. I was just worried that you might have to pay for 5 years up front - because you never know when circumstances may change. Some private allotments can be very expensive but if this is a council one its probably much more reasonable!

    More sound advice. Probably not one i'd thought about either. My thoughts are more about what state it's likely to be in and how long it will take me to be able to plant anything.

    No definitely not 5 years up front that would be expensive. It's a parish council and if I get into the site that I want they are very reasonable with lots of support. Free manure for example I'm led to believe
