Should I cut it back?

Yes cutting back will encourage fresh new growth. I'd try and leave some leaf on though. For sage and rosemary I'm going to hack mine back to a clump of about a foot in diameter.

Bit late to be cutting back now, I would have thought. Best time to trim is just after flowering. Be specially careful with Rosemary, it doesn't like being cut right back into old wood.

I'd go for it with the sage and thyme, be careful with the rosemary though as it doesn't like it!

Don't forget to dry the leaves so you can use them later on in the year, baking tray in a very low oven heat works for me, and the house smells yummy. Waste not want not i say.
