  • Sage leafhopper

Hello, has anyone had any problems with these little devils? I should have a nice healthy sage plant but they've made a right mess of it, and they've spread to the thyme, lemon balm, mint and to a lesser extent rosemary and basil. Around this time of year it gets really out of hand and I have to use a spray gun on them, which isn't what I want to do.

I'm considering pulling up and burning all my herbs in autumn, and buying replacements in spring. I do have cuttings I could bring indoors but I think leafhoppers overwinter in the leaves, so that might just be a waste of time. Anyone got any other ideas?!
