Anyone grownit? I got 2 packs in the bargain bin at the local grocers for 29p! So I saved the best 4 to root in water and trimmed up the rest for the freezer. I understand it's quite easy.

Never grown it, but was going to give it a go. Bob Flowerdew mentions it in one of his books. I'll root out what it says and post on here.

I grow them every year from seeds. It is slow to get them started, then they will do fine in the summer. They ares not hardy, so they will get killed by frost if you leave them outside in the winter. That was what happened to mine by end of the year.
I suppose it should be ok as long as you keep them inside until the summer.Comment

Have a pot of it in my conservatory which I grew from seed last year. It'll go back outside in the summer but as said above it can't stand any frost.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
