    As I was potting my Garlic chives to another pot it collapsed a bit , Will it still be ok , in time ?

    It should, but I'd keep it out of strong sunlight/heat for a while if I were you.

      Should be. Mine survived being dug up, torn apart into individual bulbs, planting, being mistaken for grass and being weeded out and finally replanting in time for the dry spell.

      It lay about for a while until it got its roots down and replaced it's old drooping leaves with new growth. It's nice and healthy now and standing to attention.
