Mine arrived this morning - thanks for the synopsis Veggiechicken. I read it last thing at night and tend to drift off in the middle of articles
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Mine is being firmly stashed until Friday and yes, you guessed it, plenty of pillows in bed and a large china breakfast cup and saucer of tea.

I did notice that if you only want the offer now, so less than £10, you have to pay by cheque in the post. Not keen on that.

"Oh it came yesterday, I put it out the way"
        Hid it more like!

Picked mine up from Tesco today. Aswell as the free seeds it also came with a pair of gardening gloves. I'm off to Wales for the week on Saturday so I'm saving it to take with me.
It is the doom of man, that they forget.

                        May Issue

I saw GYO in Waitrose, so grabbed a copy. I went home, and saw on my till slip I had been overcharged by £2. It came in a cellophane packet, and I had assumed it contained catalogues. ( Garden News had arrived that morning with catalogues inside it.) It actually contained a magazine called "Period Ideas". Apparently a special offer only in Waitrose. This magazine is nothing to do with gardening, and I would never have paid 20 P for it, let alone £2. To add insult to injury, the promised free seeds were not in the packet. It was fully sealed so they can't have fallen out. It seems that I would have to wait until GYO appears in WHSmith to get the seeds. I don't think I'll bother. I'm not about to pay twice for the same magazine on top of £2 for a magazine I don't want and never asked for.

Can't you take it back for a refund? And complain.

                            That's what I'd do too.

What did I say to warrant a tenner?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
