  • Grow your own magazine

I'd like to have a go.

Where can I buy magazine seed? I rather fancy growing a poultry magazine, 'cos I might get eggs too.....

Sadly, no. Wish I could grow my own magazine, 'cos there's no way I'm paying three pound odd for a couple of articles I might read, plus a whole load of ads and articles I'm not interested in. But that's the way of most mags now, isn't it?

I don't understand your point - if you don't want to buy it, then don't. If you do, then do. Whatevers.

I found it funny as a joke (not seen it before) but is this more of a dig about the contents of the mag?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Not a dig - I did a search and couldn't find that anyone had done it before (which surprised me) - perhaps my sense of humour is more twisted than some....

poor old mothhawk.......the thing is that a while ago some one did post a thread about growing their own magazine and wanting the seeds to do it ...i think the thread might have got a little out of hand because it was deleted after only a handful of replies....so maybe we are a bit sensitive!
And also some of us might be a bit protective of the magazine ..like me because we subscribe although i take your point about some magazines just being full of adverts etc and nothoing of interest to read ......but i really dont think GYO is one of them...
so hope your feathers arent too ruffled!
