Woolmans (The chrysanth people) free postage this weekend only.

Just saved myself £4.95 postage on a nine plant collection of named earlies costing a reasonable £12.95!

Nice one Snadger. Do they do this every year? I've got enough for 2015 but will be looking for some additions next spring...

Don't know whether they have a zero postage weekend each year but luckily I was looking to buy the nine plant collection anyway but ruled it out because of the postage cost!
Deffo the zero postage that clinched it for me.

I have never grown chrysanthemums but might give them a go, any guidance welcomed

Greenleaves, they are pretty tough plants. Go for early-flowering types if you are growing them outdoors because the ones that don't flower until after October will get their flowers spoilt by the weather. Very little attention is needed to get some pretty flowers, although plenty of time and energy in pampering them is necessary if you want to win a show with them!

Thanks Martin, certainly not worried about the show bench. Just thought it would be nice to add a litte colour
