Just a thought- I was intending to post about a massive reduction in woodworm treatment ( and then I had visitors) ....
...and now Rodley has some info about Leclerc offers.
Could we please have a thread mods for us Froglets for recommendations ????

    what do other froglets think???????

Excellent idea Nicos, could make it a European thread, to be all inclusive but the majority of non-Brit residents in here seems to live in France.

And all the really great gardening offers that are around at the moment, seems a shame not to share them.

Do other froglets get the weekly deliveries of pub which gives all the offers?

We do get quite a few from Gamme Vert and the usual supermarket pub. We also get the hunting supplies catalogue from <<Ducatillon>> once a year. The previous owner must have been a subscriber (not into hunting myself) but it does have all the equipment for jam making, food smoking etc which is very interesting.

Mmmm I wonder how I can get myself on the Lidl mailing list

sounds a good idea - i'm useless however at finding good deals..but will do my best to be useful.
Currently I need to buy one of those little upright plastic green housy things ..they were just under 35 E in Gamm Vert but as they are known to be pricey i thought i'd wait til i saw a cheaper one and i havent ....Carrefour who have a gardening event allegedly at the moment had one at 35E - few centimes plus cher.....so where do i get a cheaper one from or am i being mean?

Here you go Scarey55 and anybody else for that matter .....

              Lidl Online

and here's the sign-up one for Aldi

This Thursday Lidl are selling the electric rotovator for €59.99, plus lots of other gardening goodies, and I'll be first in the queue! Alsi has a few gardening bits on Saturday 14th, fertilisers and a spreader if I remember correctly.

Last week SuperU were selling 40cm dia terracotta pots for €4.95 - I grabbed 4 of them - but at price I bet there are not many left.

Leclerc are having a good gardening event atm tho it has been running for a couple of weeks now. I've bought 4 compost bins there because they're the best prices/against size that I could find.

Also Briconautes have their gardening event on now, started last week, not so much for the small things but really really good for tools and fitting for watering systems etc.

Got 6 pots for 70E from GiFi- not esp cheap- but they're colourful ones of reasonable size.
Not much else in the line of gardening though but their sale is up to 50%- and they were open all day Sunday Flers!

I've just been looking at the offers in the Leclerc and Bricomarche freebies- and what's frustrating- is that they don't say what the original price was to work out how much of a bargain!

They're still very expensive compared to UK prices....I've always said my car looks like a mobile shed on wheels...now it's going to look a bit more like a mobile greenhouse on wheels when we nip over at the end of the month!

when you say clear, you mean not blue? How can you tell where you have sprayed it then?

How do you know where you've sprayed weedkiller or feed, same sort of principle I think!

                              Hi Guys

I've got a reallt good seed swap thing going with a guy in 85, he's sending me loads of stuff, being very generous for my meagre returns to him.

When I get sorted perhaps some of us Frenchified people can swap a bit more?
