  • Copper garden fork

Happened to see what looked like a copper garden fork in the local GC the other day and I quite fancy one. Not certain but I think it was made by bulldog. Price was under £20 with 10 year grantee. Have a birthday coming up but can't find anything on line not even on Bulldog website, can anyone help out or was I just wishful thinking on last visit to GC.

Copper is a soft metal and would be as much good as a hole in the head for digging methinks!

Some forks are cadmium plated which is a golden colour?

I have always thought that copper would be to soft a metal for garden tools but they seem to work. Inovations which is a company that specialises in copper tools have just bought a digging fork out but it is something like £140. Just a bit beyond my price range.

Aren't they supposed to be good for your arthritis? (Or did I dream that?)

Hee hee Snadge, indeed you could be correct but even worse is the possibility that it could be intended to be worn like earrings except with piercings to match the spacings of the tines
