We found a le creuset 'marmite' casserole in TKMaxx, it was less than half price £24.99. I have always been wary of very expensive cookware, thought you were buying the name. However this is fab, it cooks all our veggie stews etc a treat and it doesn't burn at the bottom.
It is pot so not as heavy as their cast iron pots, would throughly recommend it to anyone who likes stews/casseroles.

we got a le creuset kettle in TKMaxx a couple of years ago for a fraction of the price you would pay here -and its been brilliant - can hear it whistling now - paid full price for a casserole dish in posh shop in town - but i use it virtually every day in winter to cook soups...I was always a bit sceptical as well but am now a cast iron fan ....there are cheaper makes than le creuset .....

I think the maxim in cookware is buy the best you can afford. You really do get what you pay for and good cookware will last a lifetime.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

I love TKMaxx, can never be bothered to root through the clothes but always head straight for the homeware section!
