Our false ones went up on Tuesday. My little potted blue spruce is still chilling in the greenhouse for now (to protect it from my bunnies - who ate both my kids trees that they were given as an xmas gifts from the forestry commission 3 years ago)

oh don't! I am so downcast because we can't really have on up this year

We are going away for a fair while and wouldn't dare have our usual jollies up with the cats here - home alone, apart from minders to feed them. The tree would be down before we got to the end of the road

I have spent more than usual on the front door wreath this year as that is to be the extent of our festooning

No I have to send my OH up to the loft to get it down....and wait for daughter to finish school before it can be 'properly' decorated

Not having one this year. Not going away, but with just me and the hound in the house, and nobody visiting till after Christmas, I just dont see the point. However it would be real if I were to have one.

Am toying with the idea of putting ours up this weekend... it's a false one, as I can't stand the smell of real ones...

However, I don't feel particularly festive and we haven't received any cards yet. I may wait and put up when we have some cards on the mantle!

We've had a xmas card or two and a mince pie or two already (see I can't really start thinking about xmas 'til December!)...

...but I think I'll leave putting the tree & lights up for a couple of weeks. The lights may depend on the neighbours, don't want them thinking we're a bit of a Boble err I mean a bit of a Bah Humbug!

Get yourself a nice string of lights and some fun decs Bob, stop being so...well you know!
