Good going, because most of the country had a heatwave about then...... (are you in Cornwall NOW, and if so why does your profile say South Oxfordshire?)

That was the odd thing, it was hot - then snow, then hot I remember it well cos I was pushing a friends baby in his pram at the time!

My profile relays where I am currently living, next week it could be somewhere else as and when Her Maj sees fit to move Snowdrop along to next base

We also had snow - about June 6th that year. The heatwave followed shortly after. My lad was a year old that summer - spent most of it slathered in sun cream in a Mothercare paddling pool!

Yes I remember that & it was in May it stopped a Derbyshire cricket match in Buxton.
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.
