  • Yeh I'm a seedling

Don't know when that happened but I'm chuffed, didn't think I did much posting

I don't even have an allotment - yet - something I hope to remedy. Can't grow much in the garden unless I make it like Fort Knox against chickens.

But I get a great deal of enjoyment and knowledge from reading your postings

Thank you for a great forum

If you think you don't post much just now, wait til you get your lottie - if your not down there you'll be on here

Hi Chris & congrats on your promotion. I don't have a lottie either & just grow bits & pieces in pots & beds in the garden but find the vine a great place to get tips & advice. Keep it up & one day you could be a 'Guru' like Nick!

            I am a seedling I think!!
Hi! Please look at my 'brilliant' site about dolls houses and miniatures! I can always use new members, not matter how much you visit or not! Also, the more members I get the more things I can put on, so go on, do me a favor and at least look!

Hi Soobeth, yes you are most definitely a seedling. How are you doing? I hate this time of the year, I work 9 - 5 and it's dark when I get up and dark when I come home. Only 2 days a week when I can work on the garden and the allotment (and sometimes I'm so tired after a full weeki's work that I just waste the weekend doing nothing much.

My children (all grown up now) say don't worry you can't keep going all the time, but I feel guilty just sitting around when there's so much to do.

SORRY EVERYONE, That was a "feeling sorry for myself" post - ashamed I am!
Will probably feel much better soon

what's that... were you playing me the worlds smallest violin between your two fingers?

When I work my long day I'm out at 6am and back at 21.45.

However it is only one day a week so I can't really complain. With Miss E at school I manage to fit in some lottie time during the week.

I don't see the sun here until about 8.30am at the moment and it goes away again around 4pm. It'll get worse, around the shortest day the sun appears about 10am and leaves again 3.30pm. It's worse if the day is overcast! Gales and rain this weekend are forecast, garden's sodden already... whisky keeps me sane though!! I am fortunate in never having to sit in traffic jams on my way to work though, the office is four miles down the single track road I live on, and if I pass more than two cars on the road I think it's busy!
