    Hi

    Does anyone know how slugs survive the frost and snow??

    Hopefully to heaven/the afterlife/whatever you believe in

    More than likely in the soil, I'd guess?

              Some of those facts I would prefer not to have known A slug can stretch 20 times its length & the average garden has over 20,000 slugs and snails. Makes you wonder why you bother trying to fight them

                Probably in your compost or manure heap the middle of these will rarely freeze.
                The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

                      They go on holiday to warmer climes(hitch a ride with the swallows ) breed then return in April
