  • Whats top of your Christmas list?

After reading the rather heavy other threads in the section tonight, I felt like lightening the mood and (maybe) thinking of something cheerful...Christmas.

I know kids have Christmas lists (My DD had a list as long as a toilet roll ) but what are you hoping to find under the tree this year? Or maybe its a wish for something non physical, or even for someone else? (In the spirit of giving etc)

    I'll start the ball rolling:
I'd love a new pair of gardening gloves - my old ones which I have had for years, and cost a pretty penny when new, were split on one finger by a particularly nasty thorn.
I also have a waterproof plastic jacket thats fine for showers, but not warm enough for winter, so I'd quite like a thicker one.

I would also like some gothic ghost stories to read and the DVD box set of both millenium and wallander....

Nothing big, but things just for me.

    Now its your turn....

I'd really love a new pair of walking boots. I live in mine because of the ankle and arch support, but I've only been able to afford cheap ones this time and they're already falling apart after a couple of months. I'd love a really good pair for once

I would love a luxurious bottle of bubbly bath or smellies - the sort I wouldn't usually buy for myself and a new pair of slippers! (seriously) the fluffy boot type ones Some trashy romantic fiction and a textbook off my Amazon wishlist!!

On a lottie note, I would absolutely love a weekend's hire of a rotavator as a present That would help me get it cleared.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

I'd like a metal rose for my watering can, I'm just to mean to buy one myself when a rubber one works fine.

Not to be given any presents but to have a jolly old time with family and friends.

For the first time in my life, I don't actually want anything for Christmas.. I've got pretty much all that I'd like (bar the 100k salary )...must be getting soft as I'd rather give presents now!
