    Anyone seen this?

I discovered a channel on Sky the other day (YeSTERDAY 537) and this show is starting now. I assume it must have previously been on another channel?!

Got the whole series on sky+ recording. Under Hotstuff's outstanding tutelage
it will be transferred to DVD when I get organised.

A great series never released either on video or dvd - someone missed a trick!
Got the book - met Harry Dodson at the Imperial War Museum exhibition on the same subject!
    I love it to bits.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I saw Ration Book Britain (I think it was called) this morning 7-8 a.m. on Yesterday - Valentine Warner presented. Loved it. I'll be watching out for more.

I've been desperate to see this, unfortunately we are on Freesat which does not have this channel. Also as we live in the sticks there is only a very weak freeview signal (we only get about 13 channels - and none of them is yesterday!)

If anyone feels that they might be able to help me.... I will be happy to send some blank dvd's and an SAE to return them in along with a token of my appreciation of course.
Excuse me, could we have an eel? You've got eels down your leg.

What a great show... I'm hooked after watching two episodes. I can see why it is so popular. OH and I just happened to be flicking through the channels looking for something to watch.

I've also series linked and will record it all - seems to be on a few times a day, but I might have already missed some of it.

I can do it for you, or rather OH can - once the series has finished I'll get him to transfer it to DVD.

Watched it many times, got the book (signed) and met Harry Dodson. He was utterly charming, just the person I would loved to have had as a Grandpa, how fab to have grown up and been taught by him. Never knew my either of my grandfathers, died before I arrived - sadly! He was at an apple day at Waterperry gardens in Oxfordshire.

Thanks for the heads up, recorded and watched this afternoon, loved when he was tying up the onions and said that he had been too busy talking and the old boys wouldn't have been impressed with his work!

There is indeed - that series was released on video and dvd. I think that was the series that launched Harry Dodson as a TV personality.
