Unusual Plants Fair

Sun 12 May, 10am - 6pm
Cosmeston Lakes Country Park, Penarth, CF64 5UY

A great day out for the family. A must for all gardeners and plant hunters. Come to a growing success!

I've been to a couple - I bought a Chilean guava at one and some unusual herbs - Vietnamese Coriander, Stevia and others.
I picked up the leaflet about these fairs today from Sir Gar Plants, a group of 3 specialist nurseries in Carmarthenshire - they'll also be at Rare Plant Fair - Fairs More venues, more dates!!

All those venues and they're all about an hour away in different directions! Might see what the diary looks like for the June one and find something else to do out that way if the petrol budget allows.

Cowbridge is a lovely little village - Dyffryn Gardens is close by (National Trust) and well worth a visit.
I may go to the Fair on Sunday so I'll report back on what's there!

I'm always seeing signs for "Giant Plant Sale" round my way, and also wonder whether it's offering a very wide variety of plants or just very big plants.
