  • Is TV too Irrisistable this Easter?

    Ashes to Ashes tonight
    Dr. Who tomorrow
    Last ever Frost on Sunday....

Are we too addicted to the box?

What are you watching this weekend? Or have you got better things to do?

    Better things to do!
I hardly ever have the time or inclination to watch TV, which is just as well because OH has control of the remote.

    This weekend it's
    - wallpapering the little room
    - putting a load of stuff onto eBay
    - ditto Freegle
    - laying a lawn for a mate
    - if it's sunny, gardening
    - it it's wet, sewing

I rarely watch any telly. DS has control of the remote and myself and OH tend to do other things or sit and chat in the evening. Much nicer than back in the days when we watched tv. If there's something we really want to watch, we tend to watch it on the catch up sites on the 'puter

Better things to do - I thought TV was pretty poor, that's just me though. I don't watch any of the major series.........

Don't watch much TV. Saw Raymond Blanc's show this week as I was in a hotel room; and last night's 2 programmes on - erm - have I got news was one of them but can't even remember the other one. Oh yeah, the heritage programme with the houses that are falling apart. Very sad.

Not one for much TV; could easily ditch it if the OH and his DD weren't obsessed.

I pretty much never watch our set but do catch up on iPlayer now and again. I have to ask though, is it a new series of Ashes to Ashes? I do rather like a bit of Gene
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

It will be interesting to see how the new guy takes on the mantle of Dr Who after David Tennant being so successful. Also, last part of Wonders of the Solar System on Sunday. And of course there's another Grand Prix this weekend

I'm at a beer festival on Saturday so I'll be recording "Dr Who", I'm out Sunday afternoon/night so "Frost" will be recorded for later viewing, I don't watch much T.V, but ya can guarantee when I'm going out there's always something on I like to watch.

Yes its a new series of Ashes to Ashes, I will even make the effort to watch it. That and Dr Who tomorrow and GW and Coronation Street is about it. We have a friend coming for dinner tomorrow night who has a huge collection of DVDs and he's bringing a new horror called Paranormal Activity - its new and supposed to be super scarey; not sure if I'll be able to watch it.
I don't have much time or inclination to watch tv and hardly ever watch anything 'live'. I record Corrie and lately have LOVED that Professor Cox and the Solar System. Oh, and Brothers and Sisters and Desperate Housewives. That's about it. Not exactly highbrow but then I see tv as pure escape, there's enough challenging stuff to fill my brain all the other hours of the day. A girl's gotta rest!

I will watch Doctor Who with my boys and Frost as I love it!
                          Cheers

I have put Dr Who on the HD in case I don't get home from the real motor=racing, at Cadwell Park, in time. Sunday will be watching the GP re-run (too old to be up at that hour) and Frost in the evening. Monday may get back into the plot (btw gave a work colleague loads of seeds yesterday, he is going to be busy this weekend!!)

Ah but Jonathon Creek is on Sunday, so we'll record that while we watch Frost. I only manage to watch TV when there is no sport that himself must watch. I don't even see adverts while there are sports channels to flick to.
