  • Is this stuff any good to use

DH & son, have been on the skip tat, they spotted some, what sounds like blue bubble wrap,it's what is used on top of swimming pools,(the place has vacated the site)
Is it able to let enough light though, also is it UV friendly, yes i have thoughts again of a bigger poly tunnel next year,my skip divers tell me there is 3 rolls of it,aprox 6ft wide,i will have to go look myself if its any use,i already got a fat roll of hession stuff, would be good for lining baskets ext,am also going to run up some snazzy potato sacks, plus it would maybe be a bit of a wind brake/screen if needed,
    thanks in advance peeps,

I would imagine that if it's blue it might block part of the light spectrum. If it's a swimming pool cover, there's a slight chance that it blocks growth of green stuff to prevent algae? It might not, but a Google search should get you some answers.

This looks like it might be the stuff: Solar Pool Covers | Heat Your Pool While It’s Covered! Order Today

It does say 'blocks algal growth' on some of the descriptions

Good for covering compost heaps if not growing space?

And can always freecycle it if you don't want it.
