Spicy salad is on flower!

Hi my spicy salad which has done us several meals is now on flower. It looks really pretty, all yellow and purple, so I have moved it onto the patio as OH thought it was a lot of new plants I had bought lol.

Can I take seed from it? If so when is the best time to get the seed? never collected any before....

No, the seed won't be any good, probably cross-pollinated so won't come true. It will, however, seed itself all over your garden quite happily ... one year's seeding is seven year's weeding remember
