  • Spam/hacked emails warning

I've just had a message from a Freegle site - see below. The email that they refer to I have received from 3 different people (via Facebook) already - but I haven't clicked on any link so should be OK.
Just thought you all should be aware of this and maybe change your passwords - I am!!

    The message:-
We are doing our utmost to stop this from happening but please be advised should
you receive an email with a link in it and a message saying single mom makes
$3000 dollars a month DO NOT click on the link.

It creates a virus that then sends out this email from your email address to
    everybody in your address book.

Anyone with a yahoo, ymail, rocketmail or BTinternet email address is advised to
change their password. Use something that is harder to guess with upper and
lower case characters, numbers as well as letters etc.

Cyber criminals are taking advantage of the fact that people WILL use one password for several applications/accounts, so if they can get face-ache log-in credentials, they then have the potential to access more sensitive data belonging to that person or the company they work for.

      Endless wonder.
