  • Songs That Make You Cry

On the way to Te**o yesterday, radio 2 doing requests for CIN played the 2008 version of 'Two Little Boys'

I bawled my eyes out the whole journey while singing along, don't know why but that song has always made me cry since I was a kid - without fail

Don't know about crying but "Nothing Compares" by Ms O'Connor certainly brings a lump to my throat
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.

Quite a few of the above, but mine are Sand and Water by Beth Nielsen Chapman. Over the Rainbow, and Songbird by Eva Cassidy.

"Fix You" by Coldplay, reminds me of all those poor children 'rescued' by loving foster carers and adopters. Except of course not all of them are rescued and there are too many still out there in the hands of people who would do them harm :-(

Your'e beautiful by James Blunt, but for the wrong reasons, have to turn it off as it makes my ears bleed and anything by Celene Dion for the same reason.

seriously mine is Coldplay - The Scientist and Time To Say Goodbye by anyone that sings it, particularly well up quite quicky when it is Andrea Bocelli

My oldest daughter has Coldplay's 'Fix You' as the ringtone when I call her. That made me cry!!

I'm a real weepy type, so lots set me going, but there's a fabulous song called 'I hope you Dance' - which I sent to all our children and cried when they rang to thank me!!
Life is too short for drama & petty things!
So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!
