  • Silly Things Your Cat Does!!!

Following on a bit from Piskienboots thread "Why do cats go out in the rain".
I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread where we can post our silly cat photos or just our cat photos, we all love our furry little friends and no doubt you've captured some of there most embarrassing moments on film...so why not share them with other minded grapes....go on, you know you want to .
This is "Mr Jenkins", Jinny to his friends.

I love Simon's Cat, someone posted one on here not long ago, and I then went on to youtube and watched them all.

My cat sleeps on the back of the telly then slides off into the windowsill, or sometimes all the way down the back of the TV, sits up, shakes its head then gets straight back up there and does it all again an hour later.

(it got attacked by a dog as a kitten, sustained a head injury as well as others and hasn't been quite the same since)

I used to keep cats and found them extremely loving and entertaining. One, I remember, used to use the bathroom if he was took short. Sometimes in the bath but once actually on the toilet. This particular cat would flap the letter box to knock when he wanted to come in.

Tommy sits in the road and attempts to stop cars with the Power Of His Mind. He thinks he is a bigger cat than he actually is...inside he is a giant!

Maisie likes to drink water from a proper glass. Except she also likes to knock the glass over with her paw. Every evening when she is getting a bit bored as it is dark outside.
            This is her this evening

Not sure if it is still there but there is a BBC news clip about the 'Simon' the gentleman who invented Simon's cat- its a warming little clip!

              news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8364244.stm

That is the address but not sure if it will work, it was on 17th November!

              luverly

and he seems a really nice guy which makes 'Simons cat' even better!

can anyone one put the correct link here please?

I've three cats and all have their own idiosyncrasies. The littlest one drinks from a tap and occasionally uses "jet" power (i.e. farts) to help him jump higher. The middle one is a trained escapologist and can get out of a new collar in minutes. We've just had to spend £8.00 to get him a leather collar which he has so far not managed to get out of (touch wood). And my oldest and fattest cat I take for walks to give him exercise else he would just sleep eat and do his business all day. Oh and if we're not up by a certain time will try to break into the food scraps caddy which we now have to hide.

I love the Simon's cat videos the catching the fly is my favourite.

Sorry to add a slightly more vicious note to the proceedings, folks but Maisie the tipper over of water glasses has turned to more sinister things. The worst one is the remains of a goldfinch on the floor (extra bells on the collar is the penalty for that). The next worst is half a toilet roll pulled off and shredded on the bathroom floor - why does she do that???

Our cat Tilly (short for Attilla) will scoff any cooked veg esp. broccoli n sweetcorn, adores marmite on toast, and her favourite sleeping place is crawled down the sleeve of my flourescent coat, doesn't mind if I'm in it or not.
