    Sharing stuff.....

    While trolling about the Inter-web, I often come across stuff I'd like to share with people on here. Usually, sites have a button to press if you want to share it to FB etc, (I can manage that), but how does one send videos/pictures from different sites here?
    Remember, this is ME you are explaining to, so words of one syllable, short sentences and if you use technical jargon at me, I'll burst into tears.......

    Just copy the web address [the thing that starts http: or www. in the bar at the top] and paste it into a post.

          One left click in the address bar should highlight the entire address.
          Next, one right click in the address bar will bring up a shortcut menu, where you will see 'copy' as one of the choices. Left click on 'copy'.
          Go to the GYO page quick reply box and right click anywhere inside it to bring up the shortcut menu again.
          Left click 'paste'.
          Job done

          Just to be sure, you do have more than one tab on the go at a time, yes?

                Excellent CT. Now if you really want to get techie, you can put a link in using your own words, like this

                For that, you have to use the 'go advanced' post box. Copy the link as before, then in the advanced 'reply to thread' box type the words you want to use as a link.
                Highlight the words, then click the hyperlink button - it's the blue and green globe with a link symbol.
                A box pops up. Right click in the box and click paste. Simples!
