  • Question for you

What an exciting night I'm having

Son came into room just before midnight, "my lip's swollen" and it was slightly he said he had been biting it so not too concerned

12.15 back into the room bottom lip really swollen, not too concerned, well it's difficult to look concerned when your trying not to laugh

12.20 quick phone call to nhs24, trip to asda (sooooooooo lucky to have a 24hr asda five minutes away) for antihystamine

    12.40 antihystamine taken

2.20 phoned back nhs 24 (top lip now swollen) quick chat, not too concerned because he's still breathing and his tongues not swoolen

He's allowed to sleep but I've to check on him during the night. I'm off to plan the planting

    So here's my question...

Was it wrong of me to take a picture of him when he was all swollen?

Ah ha, that explains why you're here Lizy. Normally its only me at this time. Whilst I hope all is ok with the young man, its clearly obligatory for parents to take embarrassing photo's of their offspring at any given opportunity.

He's not too bad quick trip to the doctor to get some strong tablets of some kind (little red ones eight at a time)

I've filed the photos in the same place as the naked baby pictures.

Ha ha ha! No, you were absolutely right. This photo is the one to be used on his wedding day/21st/40th or all of these.

          Hope it's gone down, now?

Glad he's doing ok again, must have been quite a shock!
I have loads of 'camp' photos of my little boy mostly in dress-up, saving them for his 18th b-day bash! Evil me - Never

I had photo of my son age about 2 in nuddy with hands over his bits, with one of his sisters wellies on.When he got married in july all his guests had envelope by their places settings which they were told to open durin his speach.Inside was a copy of this photo plus one of his wife at similar age and embarrasment! They had arranged this themselves to lighten the mood as my son was battling with cancer at the time.Made us all smile! So keep up the embarrasing photos...they can give you a laugh in later years.
