Really bad it's been nicked but hadn't you already missed Halloween?

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Oh that's awful, HM. I hope, if they made good use of it, that it gave them bellyache for a week, and, if they only used it for a football, I hope they broke their ankles!

Really sorry to read this you must be gutted after all the care you've put into growing your pumpkin.

Is there any chance you could grow next years ones in your own garden ?

Thats terrible HM, and I hope the person who knicked it hurt their back when lifting it, followed by cutting themselves really really badly in their attempt to carve it!

Sorry for your loss, what scumbags.
One year our whole site lost their pumpkins to vandals who threw them off the nearby railway bridge onto the tracks below.

Now we keep the gate locked at all times.
I also disguise my pumpkins among my flowers while they're growing, and bring them home a week before Hallowe'en

It is awful there are some really mean people out there, if they can't grow their own they could at least fork out a pound or two & buy one, there were loads for sale around here on the farms & in the supermarkets for £1 upwards! Next year you'll just have to harvest it earlier but that means you can't get it to the maximum size but I suppose it's better then losing it. Hope it didn't spoil Halloween too much for you.
