Just had this from my veg box suppliers and I though I should pass it on - just in case you may be unaware of the problem -
Product Recall - Swiss Chard
We have been advised by The Food Standards Agency (FSA) to recall a batch of Swiss Chard that was recently despatched to some of our customers. In testing a small number of batches of Swiss chard were in fact found to have originated from a smallholding in West Wales. The farm involved is now under investigation by the FSA and any chard identified as coming from this farm is subject to immediate recall.
The FSA stress that there is no health risk involved; this is a suspected case of fraudulent mislabelling. Any customers who are in possession of Swiss Chard with a batch number 100FL1rPa should return it immediately.
