Hmm....the poll was conducted of Which members - it costs £117 per year to be a member. That suggests members are fairly well off as a generalisation if they have that much to spend on the magazine. We're a member of the online one so don't get any magazines at all and it costs less. Don't shop at supermarkets at all if possible and think that T&sco is the worst of the lot of them (due to some local issues in particular) but wasn't asked anyway so my vote isn't included. To be honest I don't think that the likes of Asd* are much better either but certainly don't shop for food in M&S and any other supermarket if I can help it - the way forward is the traditional route of shopping locally but I don't want to stand in the way of your generalisation.Originally posted by mothhawk View Post

.... cos when I was in the UK last time I nipped into W for some haggis as I couldn't find it anywhere else...and impulse shopping ( as I do) picked up their value 'Dettol' surface spray equivalent.
Couldn't find it a couple of weeks ago online when a friend asked if there was anything to get for us from there.
Pity really cos it was a lot cheaper than D ....and just as good ( probably the same stuff???)
